Service Description: Major Transit Stops included in the MTPSCS 2025 Adopted November 20th 2025
A major transit stop is as defined in Public Resources Code Section 21064.3 below, except that, for purposes of AB 2097, it also includes major transit stops that are included in the applicable regional transportation plan. A major transit stop is defined as a site containing a site containing any of the following:
An existing rail or bus rapid transit station.
A ferry terminal served by either a bus or rail transit service.
The intersection of two or more major bus routes with a frequency of service interval of 15 minutes or less during the morning and afternoon peak commute periods.
