Description: 2025 Blueprint Planned Major Transit StopsPlanned major transit stops that are included in an applicable regional transportation plan. In this context, “planned” means a major transit stop included within the planning horizon (2050) of SACOG’s adopted 2025 Blueprint, the region’s Metropolitan Transportation Plan/Sustainable Communities Strategy. A major transit stop is defined as a site containing a site containing any of the following: An existing rail or bus rapid transit station, a ferry terminal served by either a bus or rail transit service, or the intersection of two or more major bus routes with a frequency of service interval of 20 minutes or less during the morning and afternoon peak commute periods. SACOG relies on the Department of Housing and Community Development technical advisory methodology for mapping planned major transit stops.
