Existing Major Transit Stops (Caltrans Data)

Transit stops that meet the definition of major transit stop in § 21064.3 today. A major transit stop is defined as a site containing a site containing any of the following: An existing rail or bus rapid transit station, a ferry terminal served by either a bus or rail transit service, or the intersection of two or more major bus routes with a frequency of service interval of 20 minutes or less during the morning and afternoon peak commute periods. SACOG relies on Caltrans data for existing major transit.
